Integrity from Marvin windows and doors create inspiration in the 2010 Southern Living Magazine Thought Home.
Southern Living magazine has developed Abercorn Place, their Georgia Concept Home with a number of \"firsts.\"  In addition to being the first townhouse featured in the publication\'s Thought Home program, this is also Southern Living\'s very first house design that at Historical Concepts call modest town urban living.  What does that mean?
If you have not been to Senoia, Georgia, it is worth discovering the southern tiny town life. Situated about an hour south of Atlanta, Senoia\'s historic district is now lined with charming shops and restaurants, and its quiet neighborhoods are full of some of the finest examples of turn of the century southern architecture.  The Notion Home is a new townhouse situated within a new development called The Gin Property, which has been planned and designed to faithfully extend Senoia\'s historic district. Just a short stroll to Major Street and every thing that Senoia has to give, Abercorn Location offers a walkable, urban lifestyle within a tiny town setting, hence \"tiny town urban\"!
In this setting, Southern Living magazine has chosen to style and create a consisting of many luxury townhome units. Inspired by an old New York brownstone with a fairly Southern feel, this handsome brownstone represents 1800\'s Federal architecture, complete with a -over-masonry exterior created to resemble centuries-old limestone blocks, and a raised, classically detailed entry way of cast stone. There\'s even a rooftop balcony that affords superb views. Since it\'s built on a corner lot, it functions a tranquil courtyard total with a potting shed and cabana constructing. What\'s a lot more, this end unit has three walls of stunning .
The Integrity from Marvin windows and doors featured in this exciting townhouse bathe the rooms in natural light and present when the Georgia temperatures subside. The home\'s traditional design dictated double hung windows with divided lites and French doors that supply access to the courtyard and porches, letting indoor and outdoor living meld together. A number of the doors are topped with transom windows, which further brighten the rooms and frame each and every entrance elegantly. The conventional divided lite patterns make light patterns that change throughout the day, enhancing the home\'s cozy atmosphere.
Although these unique fiberglass windows have a traditional wood window look, they are made with cutting edge technologies. Integrity windows and doors are made with Ultrex fiberglass, a window material so strong, so long lasting, it is regarded as to perform better than any other vinyl or composite window material. Integrity window interiors feature the warmth of wood and are styled with frames that give the appearance of standard wood windows.
Thanks to the Ultrex fiberglass window material, Integrity windows provide low maintenance, superior durability and snug energy efficiency. They keep the heat out in summer and let in the sun\'s warmth on chilly winter days. The Concept Home windows were supplied by Architectural Visions Inc (AVI) situated in Buckhead. AVI is a Marvin Design Gallery that partners residential architects, homebuilders and homeowners to make sure their dream property gets specifically the windows the homeowner desires.
