ORLANDO, FL – July 27, 2010 – Kay Green, Founder and President of Kay Green Design (), an Interior Design and Merchandising organization, recently won a total of five Aurora awards for Most beneficial Merchandising on the Giralda Model at Bella Vista in Longwood, Florida and the Kensington Model at Hallman Hill in Homewood, Alabama. Both models had been awarded the Aurora and Grand awards, whilst the Kensington was also awarded the Preferred in State award for its superior style to all other Alabama entries.
Kay Green commented, \"The Giralda model, built by Centerline Homes, was created with today\'s design trends in mind. Bold blue hues were combined with a mixture of dark and light trim colors to set the background for eclectic, soft-contemporary furnishings. The upstairs bonus room is a favorite feature of the household, with a built-in wet bar, billiards table and house theater. The at-property movie encounter is a growing trend as household buyers opt for to save funds by staying household for entertainment, within the context of today\'s economic recession.\"
\"On the other hand,\" Kay commented, \"the Kensington model was designed for a really organic, eco-friendly home buyer. Moss green, cream and soft brown hues accent the walls and pop out in attention-grabbing accessories. The condo complex is tucked away in a smaller urban city outside of Birmingham, Alabama. The target household buyer for this demographic is a young expert searching for a social community bustling with activity. The condo\'s frequent courtyard gives the perfect outdoor space for larger social gatherings.\"
